Sayan Hazra: One of the most anticipated festivals in India, the Hornbill Festival is an annual celebration of Nagaland’s 16 tribes and their rich cultural heritage.     The Naga heritage village, Kisama, the festival ground, is situated around 12 KM from the state capital Kohima. Kisama offers a panorama of natural vistas and is infused with the cheerful hospitality of its people.     Throughout the festival, there is a medley of folk songs and dances, a musical night with artists, and a display of traditional arts and crafts at the morungs.     One can also partake in the merrymaking with the locals and discover the naga delicacies.     Every year this festival is held from December 1 to 10 in Kisama.     Text & Image Courtesy: Sayan Hazra
